Cravens RT

The 120 Cravens bodied RT's are almost as well known for their post London Transport histories as for their service in the capital.

As it became apparent that London Transport had a big surplus of RT class vehicles even in the mid 1950s the decision was taken to dispose of the non standard Cravens bodied RT's and they were soon snapped up by independent operators throughout the country.
