Kit  WEY 3

AEC Regal  Weymann body 1950

The standard post war single decker in the Devon General fleet was the AEC Regal with Weymann body. A total of 69 were built between 1946 and 1948 and a final batch of 5 to the same design was delivered in 1950.

They continued in service for several years but soon looked dated with the introduction of the underfloor engined chassis in 1951.

     The kit is a representative model of the last 5 and is suitable for modification to the earlier styles.
