 ROE9 - AEC Regal III

In 1947 the AEC Regal lll chassis was planned; and it was introduced in 1948.

Charles H. Roe were building bodies for the BET Federation and produced a similar design based on the new AEC chassis for general sale.

 

 

Operators were mainly in the North, Roe being based in Leeds. These included Hebble, West Riding and Yorkshire Traction.
Variants were also produced for the corporation fleets of Leeds and Halifax.

Slight modifications to the kit will suit most of these fleets.
