LEYLAND TD 5 EAST LANCS REBODY

Most of the Southdown Leyland TD 3, TD 4 and TD 5`s built between 1934 and 1939 were rebodied through the period 1946 to 1950 by a selection of bodybuilders.

The same body style was supplied to several other operators but with many variations.

The kit is based on the style used in 1949 and 1950 when a total of 34 vehicles were re-bodied but reference to specific photographs is essential for accuracy.

Fleet and Registration Nos. 

In addition to the above similar bodies were fitted to Guy Arab I chassis and others were transferred from TD2 to Guy Arab II chassis.

 Guy bonnet units can be supplied for these variation in exchange for the TD7 unit included in the kit.

Adjustment to the body requires the upper deck front windows to be changed from radius to sharp corners and removal of the front rain strip up to the moulding line.
